Panajachel at La Palapa Restaurant on Saturdays, and on Sundays he grills in San
Pedro at Cafe Chuasinayi.

When you purchase a full meal (45Q to 110Q or
$6 - $14USD) you get your choice of 3 sides which change weekly, plus your
choice of either freshly baked corn bread or grilled garlic bread. Vegetarians,
or those who don't want such a full plate can just purchase the sides.
Smoked tenderloin of pork
Portions are huge. This plate of smoked
tenderloin of pork is one of our favorites. Here you see sides of cucumber
salad, nave beans and ham, potato salad and cornbread. For BBQ sauce you have
choices of hot, sweet, down home North Carolina and mustard sauce.
Sometimes troubadours come
through and we have a little live music also with our meal. This young girl was
but is originally from Indonesia. She and a couple of girlfriends came by boat
to Pana to play in several bars and restaurants to make a few tips for the day.
