The Facilities

Community Activity room

Talent shows, bingo, club meetings, pancake breakfasts and more are held here.

Apache Wells Resort is a small, tight-knit community of 300 homes. It has a warm, neighborhood feeling unlike larger parks with 1,800 homes.

It is often called "The Little Park with a Heart."

TV room

Movie night is held here. It' a quiet place to sit and read also, or do a jigsaw puzzle.

Heated swimming pool

Heated swimming pool, water exercise equipment, hot tub.

Tables and chairs area for parties and live music. In the background are community rooms, work out room, sewing room, computer room and library.

Shuffle board courts

A popular place for residents is the shuffle board courts.

Eight well-maintained and groomed shuffle boards, neighbors are both competitive and friendly.

This is the area where parties are held with live music.

There is a dance floor, and free wine and beer are offered here. Sometimes there are complimentary meals along with the parties.

Exercise room

Here is the exercise room with various equipment. Weight lifting, treadmills, Pilates ball, showers on the left.

Computer room and library

Free use of computers and library books. A printer is available as well.

Sewing room

Sewing room is available with sewing machines. On the left are private lockers if you want to use your own machine and lock them away safely.

Cutting mats and full size tables to use for your patterns and material.

Sink, storage lockers, ironing boards and irons.

Laundry room

Community laundry room with washers and dryers. There is a sink in the back on the right.

You can obtain your laundry card at the office. The machine to recharge your card only takes US Dollar bills.

Each load - wash or dry - is $1.25USD. The amount per load will be taken off your card electronically so you always know your balance.

Folding tables available to fold your laundry.

AstroTurf tennis courts

Two AstroTurf tennis courts available here at the resort. These courts are easy on the knees and back versus hard courts which you might be familiar with.

Tennis at other Cal-Am properties is available as well.

Mailbox area

This is the mailbox area. You will have your own private box to receive mail while visiting here. Mail drop off slot on the right.

Notice boards for events are on the left wall out of this photo.

Card room

Residents gather here for coffee in the morning, and a variety of card games in the afternoon.

Other community meetings are held here as well.

The Billiards room

This is a very popular area with 6 Billiard tables. Tournaments and casual play are both held here. Trophy plaques with the winner's name are mounted on the wall.

Cue sticks and chalk are available.

Things get jumpin' on party nights here at the dance floor with the live music and complimentary wine and beer.

It's a great way to meet new people and join in on the fun.

For a good, hot soak, the hot tub and pool stay open 24/7.

Shuffle board courts are on the left, Billiards hall is on the left in the back. Community room for talent shows, movie nights and Sunday pancake breakfasts is directly ahead.
