In the mountains at
6,300 feet, Morelia is a Colonial City in the north central part of the
state of Michoacán in central Mexico. The indigenous tribes of the Purépecha
and the Matlatzinca lived here but the Spanish took control of the area in
the 1520s.
In 1991, the city was
declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it's a happening, young, vibrant
