To our Dear Loyal Readers and Friends,

This may very well be my last Christmas and New Year’s Passing celebrated with you.

Billy and I have traveled the world, have seen more than most, and have a wonderful marriage. Many are not that fortunate and we consider ourselves to be blessed.

We are on a different journey now, and no less exciting.

As both my basic needs and pain levels are being managed, it is our sincerest wish to make this transition in our lives be as peace-filled as possible for the two of us.

We have had the conversation many times that if it came down to “the beautiful end” that we wanted to be comfortable, pain free and together.

That is our goal and focus now.

I truly have the best husband in the world.

He has protected me, supported me through these medical journeys, and has given of himself completely.

This is very difficult for him.

If it were reversed, I’d be a wreck so I understand.

From our hearts to yours, we want you to know that TODAY IS THE DAY TO LOVE. You don’t know what tomorrow may bring.

Make peace inside your heart about anything that is troubling you, and if there are any relationships you want to mend, take the first step. Don’t wait.

That being said, we also know that some people are easier to love from a distance.

Merry Christmas, and as the days move into 2026, may they be sweet, rewarding and joy-filled.
