Not far from our B&B (the
B without the B) was this cafe restaurant.
When we arrived in Lecce,
it was our first stop to get some food after our
long train
ride. We had
somewhat settled
into our hotel and there was still some sunlight to enjoy, so out we went.
The Three Musketeers
It was a travel day, and we were ready for a
meal.
Fortunately for us, this place looked popular
and was convenient to our hotel.
A bonus was that it was right across the
street from a
Gelateria!
Yum yum!
Eggplant Parmesan
I have always enjoyed eggplant, and no one
makes Eggplant Parmesan better than restaurants in Italy. Or, maybe someone's
Nonna.
Every bite was delicious and satisfying.
Cover charges per person are added to the
bills in lieu of tipping, but the pricing was still reasonable.
Lasagna
Caffe Paisiello also offered the traditional
Lasagna, made here with spinach noodles.
Another delicious meal.
I guess we were hungry!
This Caffe serves Breakfast, Lunch and
Dinner.
Not the best place in town, but worth
checking out.
