Where the Weather Suits Our Clothes

As you know, Billy and I are rambler types and we log thousands of miles in any one year with our international travels. Lately, with the marvelous opportunities available for house sitting, we have been looking at travel options in Europe, with Spain, Italy and Greece at the top of our list.

Even though we are flexible in our lifestyle, one thing we are particular about, is the weather.

We choose sunny, warm days over cold and drizzly ones every time we can. Generally we gallivant around in tropical places or those which are known for blazing blue skies. Even in the countries I mentioned above which are famous for attracting sun worshippers they still have their days of rain, wind and even snow if there are mountain ranges close by.

Weather can be quite variable, and how can anyone predict something so capricious?

We found a site called Spanish weather which gives current weather conditions for dozens of locations throughout the country.

Predictions from 3 days to 2 weeks ahead are also available, in case one wants to put together a long weekend or a special holiday.  In doing research for the weather in a particular city in Spain this site also includes captivating histories and attractions of these same locations. – Which only makes me want to go there all the more!
